My Story

I’m perpetually caught somewhere between letting the wind and the waves carry me where they please and moving with purpose; between craving a home and itching to explore every corner of the world; between isolating myself in nature and buzzing in the world’s most fascinating cities.

So instead of fighting my instincts and forcing myself to find balance somewhere in the middle, I’ve allowed myself to find balance in the result of extremes, in the average of the sum of my adventures and my stillness, in the stop-and-go that inevitably happens when I rest and absorb my experiences before I start again to create new ones.

Framing the world through a viewfinder allows me a certain distance, the type of detachment that breeds objectivity, while simultaneously allowing me to completely immerse myself in my surroundings, making me both an observer and an active participant in the scenes I photograph.

I love colour, movement, and textures, I love being inspired by the mundane and the extraordinary (I’ve found that oftentimes they’re the same thing), and I hope that my images and stories take you places you might have only dreamed of, like I did before falling into them.

I will keep exploring the world as much as I can, finding beauty and familiarity even in the most remote places. Come with me on my adventures—let’s get lost.
