I travelled to Slovakia and the Czech Republic in the summer of 2017 but I don’t have that many photos as it was a very short visit. So although the former Czechoslovakia broke up in 1993, I’m bringing it back together for this gallery.

Nice photos, I have so many fond memories from Bratislava after spending a year and a half in the city. It just feels wierd that this is the first year since 2012 that I have not visited the friends down there.
Which part of the city did you enjoy the most during your visit 2017?

Thanks, Jesper! I really enjoyed the old town, though my favourite thing was the contrast between the classical, the soviet, and the modern–such an eclectic mix of architecture and style. I hope you get to return soon! I’d definitely love to go back and explore some more of the country one day.
