Providence Canyon State Park, Georgia

The imposing Providence Canyon in the US state of Georgia was formed, in part, due to poor farming practises by European settlers in the 1800s which lead to erosion of the natural gullies that already existed. Today, it is surrounded by a hiking trail through the forest. I visited the state park in October of 2020 on my way from Florida to North Carolina.
