Years after my first visit in the spring of 2018, I finally got the chance to go back to Amsterdam in autumn of 2021. It was a very different experience, not just because of the weather and the changing trees painting the city yellow, but because a COVID partial lockdown was implemented during my two-week stay in November of 2021. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed the city and a quick visit to Haarlem. Amsterdam remains one of my favourite cities in the world.
