I travelled to the Andalusian capital from nearby Faro, across the border in Portugal, during the first days of December, 2021, just as the Omicron variant shut borders again and my flights to Morocco were cancelled. Left with no choice, I booked a flight from Madrid to Bogotá, leaving me only a few days in between. And despite the cold weather and the pandemic looming, I loved my short visit to Sevilla, which I think is one of the most romantic cities in the world. Here are some of the photos I took while getting lost in the city.
