Autumn in Prague

I always wanted to go back to Prague after my very short visit in 2017, and that wish came true in early autumn of 2023. Though I was only there for a few days, I had the chance to explore the streets and canals, and enjoy views of the city as the leaves started to turn.

Discovering owl sanctuaries, koi ponds, nutrias swimming in the river, peacocks roaming in secret gardens, learning about the mythical river creatures, spotting skeletons in ancient dungeons, and following John Lennon’s footsteps, the beauty of the Czech capital lies in the details and between the layers of history. And the best way to discover the city is to roam the cobble-stoned streets and bridges, weather it’s a sunny day or pouring rain.

From Prague, I went south to visit the fairytale town of Çesky Krumlov.
