Dreaming of Nuquí

I miss jungle treks and whale watching,

I miss the sun and sudden rains,

I miss reading in the hammock,

Taking a siesta til late.

playa de terquito

I miss smoked fish for breakfast,

the salty breeze on my head,

poisonous frogs in the bromeliads,

watching the sun rise from my bed.

I miss silver skies and black sand,

blue mountains out of reach,

I miss the lush green trees of the jungle,

maybe it was all a dream.
