Olinda, Pernambuco

Olinda is a small municipality in the state of Pernambuco, just 6 km north of the state capital, Recife. Founded in 1535, Olinda is one of Brazil’s oldest colonial settlements. Known for its wild carnival and lively street parties, the colourful buildings, cobble-stone streets, and perfect panoramic views of Recife, make this small town a popular location for both locals and tourists.

Olinda es un pequeño municipio en el estado de Pernambuco, a sólo 6 km al norte de la capital estatal, Recife. Fundada en 1535, Olinda es una de las ciudades coloniales más antiguas de Brasil. Conocida por su carnaval y fiestas callejeras, los edificios coloridos, calles empedradas, y vistas panorámicas perfectas de Recife, hacen de este pueblo un lugar popular tanto con nativos como turistas.
