Fotografías de los colibríes inca bronceado e inca collarejo en la reserva natural La Mesenia. La Mesenia está ubicada principalmente en el municipio de Jardín en Antioquia, pero también abarca territorio en el municipio de Andes, Antioquia; Río Sucio en Caldas; Mistrató en Risaralda; y una parte del departamento del Chocó.
Fue fundada por la Fundación de Conservación Colibrí y trabaja también con Save the Species y La Union Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (International Union for Conservation of Nature o IUCN).

Photographs of the hummingbird species tanned inca and collared inca, at La Mesenia natural reserve. Chillón y Verdemar
Fotografías de los colibríes chillón y verdemar en la reserva natural La Mesenia. (Las dos especies son muy parecidas: traté de clasificarlos lo mejor que pude, pero es posible que algunos estén mal nombrados.) Estos colibríes tienen algo muy especial, ya que sacan sus “orejas” cuando están excitados o agresivos.

Photographs of the hummingbird species howler and ocean green (as translated directly from its name in Spanish), at La Mesenia natural reserve. (These two species are very similar: I tried to classify them as best as I could, but it’s possible that I have misnamed some). These species have a unique feature as they pop out their “ears” when they’re excited or aggressive.
