Fotografías de la Reserva Natural de las Aves Loro Orejiamarillo de Proaves, ubicada en la vereda de Ventanas entre los pueblos de Jardín (Antioquia) y Ríosucio (Caldas) en la Cordillera Occidental de los Andes. Con altitudes desde los 1,900 hasta los 2,600 msnm, cuenta con una gran variedad de aves y flores, y se caracteriza especialmente por sus poblaciones de colibríes, loros orejiamarillos, orquídeas y la palma de cera, árbol nacional de Colombia y especie en peligro de extinción.

Photographs of Proave’s Yellow-Eared Parrot Natural Bird Reserve, located in the village of Ventanas between the towns of Jardin (Antioquia) and Riosucio (Caldas) in the Western Range of the Andes. With altitudes ranging from 1,900 to 2,600 masl, it has great varieties of birds and flowers, and is characterised by its populations of hummingbirds, yellow-eared parrots, orchids and the wax palm, Colombia’s national tree, which is endangered.
